China/US Tariffs
Posted by Jacob on 2025 Feb 5th
The U.S. government has added a 54% tariff on all goods coming from China. However, there’s still a rule in place—called the De Minimis rule—that lets orders under $800 enter the U.S. without extra fees.
That may be changing soon. The government has announced plans to remove the De Minimis rule on May 3rd. We’re keeping a close eye on the situation, but to avoid any surprise charges, we recommend placing your orders before May 1st. - Update April 8th 2025
We want to keep you in the loop about some recent changes affecting shipments to the U.S. The U.S. government has introduced new tariffs on all goods imported from China, which unfortunately impacts a lot of our products. The tariffs apply to all goods manufactured in China not just shipments coming from China.
Because of these tariffs, brokerage and customs fees could now be as much as (or even more than) your original order total. We know this isn’t ideal, and we’re actively working on a better solution to keep things smooth for our U.S. customers.
For now, we've had to make some changes. U.S. orders will only be available with express shipping, as this may help lower brokerage fees. While we figure out the best way forward, we highly recommend ordering from our trusted U.S. retail partners.
Important: If you do place an order, please be aware that all customs fees will be your responsibility. If a package is refused, return fees will apply.
