Important Update - Changing How We Calculate Capacity Numbers!

Posted by Jacob on 2023 Apr 12th

We've got some exciting news to share with you at Rearz Inc.! We've updated our disposable diaper capacity numbers to give you a more accurate idea of how absorbent our products are in comparison to other brands on the market. We wanted to make sure that you're getting the best information possible when it comes to choosing the perfect diaper for your needs. Now, we haven't changed anything about our amazing products, but we have updated the way we measure absorbency. We're now using a method that's more in line with other major ABDL brands, so you can get a better idea of how we stack up against the competition.

We used to use lab testing to show off our products' absorbency numbers, which was super reliable and accurate, but let's be real, it wasn't exactly user-friendly. We get it - you want to know how our products compare to other brands out there, and we don't want you to have to be a science whiz to figure that out.

We take your feedback seriously, which is why we made this change. We want to make sure that you can easily compare our products to others on the market and make an informed decision. Because at the end of the day, it's all about finding the perfect diaper to suit your lifestyle.

At Rearz Inc., we are committed to providing our customers with the best possible products and customer service. We believe that updating our disposable diaper capacity numbers is an important step in achieving this goal. We hope that our customers will find this update helpful and informative.

Cont(April 18th, 2023): In the past 10 months, we have introduced exciting enhancements to the absorption capacity and technology used in our diapers. As a result, we have also updated our methodology for determining capacity. The current ISO lab testing procedures are inadequate for testing diapers with the level of thickness found in the ABDL community. Therefore, we have developed a new approach that calculates capacity based on the technical absorption specifications of all internal absorbent materials.
It's worth noting that the absorption capacity testing conducted by the manufacturer only utilizes distilled water and focuses solely on the total absorption capacity of the fluff and SAP components. This testing method is the most straightforward and comparable given the limitations of the current ISO standards.
It's worth noting that other brands in the industry have also shifted towards using similar methods to determine their diaper capacity. We believe that this new approach to calculating capacity will provide our customers with a more accurate representation of our product's performance and will help them make more educated purchasing decisions.

We encourage you to consult our comprehensive Diaper Reference Guide, available here, which provides the most up-to-date specifications for our diaper products. It is essential to note that some products are currently undergoing updates, and as a result, they may still display ISO test result numbers until the transition is complete.
